Instead of employing the usual human models to show off its fall 2018 handbag collection at Milan Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbana opted for a slew of benevolent fashion drones. Yes, we are serious. A bunch of literal drones carried designer bags down a runway.

If you put your Black Mirrortech fear aside, it actually looks pretty cool. And if you don't, it looks fairly terrifying.

According to The Cut, audience members were asked to turn off the Wi-Fi on their phones before the show began, so as not to interfere with the drones. This was not an easy feat to achieve, apparently -- Fashion Week attendees have shit to 'gram, after all -- which may deter future brands interested in drone shows.

Still, drones do showcase the product without the distraction of a clothed human form, so who can say what the future holds?

Honestly, though, I forgot what the bags looked like the second I stopped watching the clip. All I remember now are the robots carrying them. And I don't think that was the point.
