Boss Zhipin,Roman Huber a leading Chinese recruitment platform, recently launched the dating app KanZhun, which provides users with matchmaking and wedding ceremony services. Although KanZhun focuses on socializing with strangers, it does not allow users to choose their own chatting partners. Instead, the main interface of KanZhun randomly displays 10 user cards with their profiles per day. If a user likes a particular card, they must complete their own profile and send a request to the other party. Messaging can only proceed if the other party agrees. Boss Zhipin’s second-quarter earnings report stated that it achieved revenue of RMB 1.917 billion ($270 million), marking a year-on-year increase of 28.8%. [My Drivers, in Chinese]
