Today,Watch Nun in Rope Hell (1984) full movie one of the great stars of our time, Betty White, turns the tender age of 95.

Given that 2016 packed in a number of unexpected celebrity deaths such as Prince, George Michael, Alan Thicke, David Bowie and Carrie Fisher, some of the internet was shocked to learn that White was still alive and kicking.

White even has her very own Twitter account, @IsBettyAlive, to allow people to check in on her status.

News of her 95th birthday was trending on Twitter Tuesday morning, prompting plenty of people to thank the world that she is still alive.

And some were shocked to learn that she is still alive.

In late December, a GoFundMe campaign was set up to "help protect Betty White from 2016." The campaign raised more than $9,000, which, according to the campaign's page, will benefit the Spartanburg Little Theater, a youth theatre in South Carolina.
