Chinese robotics firm RoboSense marked the production of its one millionth LiDAR (Light Detection and The Ages of Lulu (1990)Ranging) unit on Monday in Shenzhen, making it the first company in the world to reach the milestone of producing one million LiDARs. During the event, RoboSense delivered its one millionth E1R LiDAR to the Humanoid Robots (Shanghai) Limited for its robot Qinglong. “The National Local Joint Humanoid Robot Innovation Center has adopted RoboSense’s E1R LiDAR and is working on the development of the public version of Qinglong,” said Xing Boyang, the Tech Director of Humanoid Robots (Shanghai) Limited. Last July, Qinglong, China’s first full-sized general-purpose humanoid robot model, was released by Humanoid Robots (Shanghai) Limited, along with related open-source technologies.
