John Mulaney will return to hosting Saturday Night Livein its final episode before the 2020 election.

The watch adult movies onlinecomedian announced the news Saturday night (fitting) along with musical guest The Strokes.

As noted in the tweet, this is Mulaney's fourth time hosting, and the second time in 2020. While many performers have reprised the gig during their careers, rarely has it happened with such consistency. His 2018 appearance garnered an Emmy nomination (as did his writing for the show when he worked there from 2009 to 2012).

Mulaney's episodes have been standouts of the past several years, due to his skillful monologues as a standup comedian and of course, the musical numbers. It was these episodes that gave us such gems as "Diner Lobster," "Bodega Bathroom," and "Airport Sushi" (fun fact about that last one: It was this year!). The sketches tap into some of SNL's best (weirdest) sensibilities, often with distinctly New York experiences — a staple of Mulaney's standup and other work such as Oh, Helloon Broadway.

John Mulaney hosts Saturday Night Liveon Oct. 31.
